The Junction City Rodeo is this weekend
The 30th annual Junction City Rodeo is this Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, at the Geary County 4-H Fairgrounds Arena. The rodeo begins at 7:30 p.m. on both nights. The theme for Friday night is 'Tough Enough to Wear Pink' and Saturday night's theme is 'Red, White and Blue.'

In a report highlighted by Minneapolis city officials, comprising Mayor Jacob Frey, Council Member Jeremiah Ellison, and other city leaders, it seems that Minneapolis is at the forefront of tackling affordable housing challenges in the nation. The document, titled "The Way Home: 2021-2023 Progress Report," showcases the strides the city has taken as a part of its larger Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive Plan, according to the Minneapolis, City of Lakes. The focal point of the success story is the creation of 4,679 affordable housing units funded by nearly $365 million since 2018. By these numbers, Minneapolis has significantly increased its output compared to previous years’ averages.
