Motorcyclist killed in Saturday night crash
BATTLE CREEK, — A 24-year-old Emmett Township man died following a single motorcycle crash Saturday night, according to a Battle Creek Police Department news release. Police responded to the crash at about 9:45 p.m. near West Michigan Avenue and Limit Street. The driver was thrown from the motorcycle after it left the roadway and went over a curb, according to police. The BCPD was assisted by the Springfield Township Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance. Despite life-saving efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries.
