Sandusky school board makes unique compromise regarding mascot
SANDUSKY, Mich. (WNEM) – Some people in Sandusky want to bring back a nickname viewed by others as racially insensitive, and school board members made a unique compromise. Sandusky started off the school year the same way it ended the last one: with controversy. The school district’s mascot is once again at the forefront, with the school board voting to re-introduce the old logo while keeping the Wolves mascot and name.
