until federal laws change regarding disabled passengers there will always be people abusing this wheelchair situation. anyone can request a wheelchair, and no one can.ask about there disability. airlines should have some sort of way to verify the status, just like parking tags in the disabled parking spots.

That’s a lie. 86% do not want assigned seats. No one is addressing the bag issue. By the time you board with the scheme, the overhead above your seat will be full. Stupid plan. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Just raise your prices. Then you don’t have to reconfigure anything.
