Unless you're in Western North Carolina, you can't speak for what's true or what's misinformation. They don't like criticism, but if it's sparked them to act faster, it's not a bad thing. If you do your job well, you don't have to worry about misinformation. People will see what's been done. There are a lot of people still waiting for help though.
