In 2020, the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania faced significant turmoil with election protests, court challenges and threats against election officials, including Republican Al Schmidt. St. Mary’s holds annual bazaar
St. Mary’s Church, Dorrance, held its annual bazaar on June 22 and 23. In addition to the fabulous potato pancakes, pierogi and haluski, the bazaar took on added significance this year as parishioners bid farewell to St. Jude/St. Mary’s parochial vicar (assistant pastor) Rev. Philbert Takyi-Nketiah who was transferred to administrator of Holy Spirit parish, Mocanaqua on July 1.
