Iron Hill Brewery opens new location at Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall, Pennsylvania
Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant (Iron Hill), one of the most award-winning breweries east of the Mississippi, will introduce the Lehigh Valley to its craft kitchen and scratch brewery at its newest location at 950 Lehigh Lifestyle Center in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, at the Lehigh Valley Mall. Iron Hill celebrated its opening with a ceremonial first pour and ribbon cutting earlier today. The brewery and restaurant opened its doors to the public on July 13, 2024; this opening marks its 13th location in Pennsylvania and 21st overall for the concept.

15 tornadoes confirmed by NWS in East Texas Beryl aftermath
EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - 15 tornadoes have been confirmed by the NWS as of Friday in their continued surveying of East Texas after Beryl. The newest tornado confirmed to have touched down in East Texas was an EF-1 along Highway 294 west of Alto around noon on July 8. The NWS said it had a path of 1.13 miles with a maximum width of 200 yards and peak winds of 105 mph.

Isolated showers and storms will remain possible this afternoon and evening, but coverage will remain fairly limited and will likely favor areas south of I-20 today. Despite most folks staying dry today with plenty of sunshine, expect temperatures to remain below average in the upper 80s with only a few potentially seeing highs reaching 90°! Saturday will see a mix of sun and clouds along with another round of isolated rain chances for Deep East Texas, with most central and northern zones trending dry for the first half of the weekend. Rain chances will quickly increase by Sunday afternoon as another active weather pattern sets up across the southern U.S., meaning more widespread showers and storms can be expected Monday through Wednesday of next week as well as cooler than average temperatures.
