Rain chances will quickly increase by Sunday afternoon as another active weather pattern sets up across the southern U.S., meaning more widespread showers and storms can be expected Monday through Wednesday of next week as well as cooler than average temperatures.

After a beautiful and mild start, Saturday will be a little warmer with highs reaching the lower 90s. No rain is expected Saturday, but chances return Sunday.
