Senator J.D. Vance to come to Coalinga for fundraiser

COALINGA, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – Senator J.D. Vance is coming to Coalinga at the end of July for a fundraiser, officials announced.

On Wednesday, July 31, Senator Vance will be at a fundraiser in Coalinga, according to a flyer sent to YourCentralValley.com by Former Congresswoman Connie Conway.

The fundraiser will be hosted by John Harris, Karen and Richard Spencer, and William Bourdeau.

Earlier this week, former President Donald Trump chose Ohio Senator J.D. Vance as his running mate. Political experts in the Central Valley say the news broke as a surprise -not too long after Trump got shot in his ear.

At the time, Conway said she trusts the former president’s decisions.

“A brilliant guy, a young guy. I like that. The world, my world is getting younger and I’m appreciative of that and I think the president, President Trump realizes this as a future for the Republican Party,” Conway said.

The vice president’s announcement was made on the first day of the Republican National Convention.
