Springfield man arrested on several warrants after police chase, OSP says
EUGENE, Ore. – A Springfield man was jailed Sunday evening after allegedly speeding off when Oregon State Police tried to pull him over, state police said. According to Oregon State Police, at about 4:20 p.m. on July 21, troopers spotted a vehicle violating traffic laws near Delta Highway and Beltline and attempted to pull it over. OSP said the driver of the vehicle did not pull over and sped off along Beltline, and OSP troopers gave chase. Eventually, the driver exited onto Coburg Road, pulled into a parking lot, and ran away on foot, OSP said.
