WVU offense hopes to take pages from successful past
MORGANTOWN, W.Va — While West Virginia coach Neal Brown's goal is to capture future championships in football for the Mountaineers, the path he has taken is to do it with an offense that takes a page out of the past. Much of WVU's offensive history has been written with...
WATCH: Late Kick puts Penn State on upset alert for Week 1 trip to WVU
The schedule for the opening weekend of the college football season features nine games between Power 4 teams. You can relax: the Penn State West Virginia point spread is not the highest in the group. Would you believe the honor goes to the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game between Clemson and Georgia. The Bulldogs are 13.5-point favorites over the Tigers. Virginia Tech is a 13-point favorite for its road game against Vanderbilt. The Mountaineers are 10.5-poit underdogs for the rare home game against Penn State.

West Virginia OL Nick Malone embraces any and all roles
From the time Nick Malone arrived at West Virginia, he just wanted to carve out a role. At the start, any role would do as long as he was contributing to his football team. The Morgantown High product arrived on campus as a 260-pound walk-on offensive lineman after earning second-team all-state honors as a senior.
WVU fall camp preview: Receivers
It's about that time again, which is crazy because it feels like just yesterday I was writing the spring camp previews. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world. Today we continue the position-by-position preview for preseason camp. The Mountaineers went 9-4 last season, including beating up on UNC in a bowl game that ended with Neal Brown being covered in mayonnaise. West Virginia football enters the 2024 season with significant wind in its sails, so fall camp should be particularly interesting to watch next month. At this current time, there is no media access schedule.
First Alert Forecast | Stubborn Wave Of Humidity Continues
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Overnight showers have slowly peeled away to the east, but the stuffy clouds and humidity remain slathered overhead, enough to spark a new shower at virtually any hour of the day. Nevertheless, our best rain-free times will be around until the heat of the day forces a few more showers and storms to sprout in the afternoon. Temperatures will still make a run to and through the 80s, and our warmest air may well end up in our Ohio counties where the best breaks for sunshine should occur. Whether partly cloudy or mostly cloudy though, any sunshine will make for quite a steamy feel at the county fairgrounds. Speaking of which, toward the end of the day (when the fair closes) we can see a new front drop into our US-50 zones (think the Vinton County fair) bringing scattered showers and storms from a new source. A downpour can be in the mix, but changes will slowly begin.
