DeVries welcomes progress as WVU get to work on its identity
A few minutes after 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, doors swung open and players and coaches walked through to take the floor at the practice court designated for the men's team at West Virginia's practice facility. Players stretched and assistants hovered while head coach Darian DeVries made his rounds to talk to the reporters he'd invited to watch and cover the practice.
Previewing WVU’s Rookies in the NFL
Three rookies will represent West Virginia University in the upcoming NFL season. Frazier was a second round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, taken by the Pittsburgh Steelers. In ESPN’s unofficial depth chart for the team, Frazier is projected to be the starting center this season. The Steelers have been making their offensive line younger as of recent, with their last two 1st round draft picks being used on right tackle Troy Fautanu and left tackle Broderick Jones.
