Grizzly Peak Cleanup, Sunday 9:30 AM - Noon!

Coco Cupcake
OK trash pandas, for Round 12 of our Grizzly Peak cleanup campaign we’ll be back at the main pullouts. There’s plenty of flat-ground work for everyone, so the more the merrier! We’ll meet on **Sunday, June 2nd** at **9:30 AM** for coffee and donuts at the intersection of Grizzly Peak and South Park Drive, [linked here](https://maps.app.goo.gl/oXFEyTq6HHyDJWkQ7), then work until noon. I’ll be there by 8:30 if anyone wants to get an early jump on the trash and/or snacks. I’ve secured a tentative promise from the City of Oakland to install garbage cans at each pullout. As discussed on our [website](https://www.eastbaytrashpandas.org/), this would represent a **major victory** for the pandas. If we pull this off, I will definitely install a small yet tasteful plaque thanking this sub. If you do come, please wear or bring the following stuff: - closed-toed hiking shoes with good grip; - long pants; - layers, a sun hat, and sunscreen; - water and snacks for a half-day’s work; and - soap and water to wash your hands when you’re done. Please do **not** bring kids or pets. It’s not safe for them up there! If you have a trash grabber, work gloves, or a reflective vest, please bring them. If not, I can equip like... seven of you. Again, I want to thank all the fantastic folks who’ve donated to our [Amazon Wishlist](https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/7NFGWFOT867O?ref_=wl_share) - we literally couldn’t do this without you! Finally, please note that this event is performed **entirely at your own risk**. Speeding drivers, narrow shoulders, steep hills, poison oak, rattlesnakes, ticks, sharps and other hazardous trash, etc. make this a risky job. By attending, you agree to fully assume any and all risks, damages, or liabilities you may incur and to hold me harmless for the same. Hope to see you on Sunday!
