SpaceX targeting Wednesday evening for Falcon 9 rocket launch, but weather looks rainy, stormy
While SpaceX has yet to publicly announce Starlink mission 10-2, a Federal Aviaiton Administration operations plan shows a launch window opening at 5:08 p.m. Wednesday for the Falcon 9 launch at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
But inclimate weather could prompt a delay with a 70 percent chance of rain expected in the area.

New hotel plans underway for undeveloped lot in Cocoa Village at site of old City Hall
Well over a year after plans to redevelop the former Cocoa City Hall, currently being used as a gravel parking lot, into a hotel fell through, the city is looking forward with a new project that could bring a Marriott-branded hotel to the south end of Cocoa Village within two years.
As Cocoa Village continues to expand and thrive, business and city leaders say a hotel at 603 Brevard Avenue is a way to take the area's future to the next level.

Cocoa man charged in crash that left one child dead, another badly injured
A 63-year-old Cocoa man was jailed after allegedly telling police he drove away from a traffic crash last month that resulted in the death of a 4-year-old child and badly injured the boy's sister.
Kenneth McGhee was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with a death and leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury in connection with the May 26 pedestrian crash at State Road 520 and Washington Street, police reported.
