Northern Idaho now has more options when it comes to lodging for its visitors and others looking for a place to stay. Moreover, it’s giving patrons the choice to stay even longer.

South Jordan, Utah-based Western States Lodging and Management recently opened TownePlace Suites by Marriott Coeur d’Alene off of Interstate 90 and a couple miles from Lake Coeur d'Alene.

The company co-owns the property with Layton, Utah-based Garn Development, a real estate development company that specializes in land acquisition, planning, entitlement and other areas pertaining to hospitality, multi-family, retail and other properties.

Two other Utah companies, Vanzeben Architecture and Rimrock Construction were associated with the project.

“This development is an exciting new venture at Western States, expanding out collection of managed TownePlace Suites by Marriott properties and commitment to extended-stay travel,” said David Webster Jr., chief operating officer at WSLM. “Our team’s ‘Personal Touch Culture’ strives to make a personal connection at every step, ensuring guests have an exceptional experience during their stay.”

Every suite in the building is equipped with a full kitchen; there is an indoor pool and hot tub for guests; free breakfasts are provided; a fitness center is available to guests; and an outdoor patio features a grill for guest use.

Suites start at $244 to $299 per night for one guest and come in a variety of layouts depending on need.
