Community pitching in to help those displaced by Saturday fire
An apartment fire early Saturday morning displaced 37 people and severely damaged all eight units in the Castle Ridge Apartments Building off Dixie Drive in Enterprise. According to Coffee County Community Emergency Response Team Director Scotty Johnson, the American Red Cross opened a shelter with sleeping cots for the families impacted by the fire at noon Saturday at the Enterprise First Baptist Church’s Baptist Center on Lee Street, which is next to Sessions Cleaners, across from the new city parking lot.
