LOCK HAVEN — The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven had a lot to celebrate Tuesday, July 16. Nate Akeley became the club’s newest member that evening. He recently graduated from Central Mountain High School where he had been class president for three years and a member of Interact (high school Rotary). Man charged for failing to disclose arrest on gun application
Muncy, Pa. — A person’s failure to disclose a previous drug conviction might prove costly after a felony charge was issued by a local magistrate judge. Patrick Robert Ranck, 43, of Hughesville allegedly checked “no” to a question asking if he had previously been convicted of a felony. An investigation by State Police uncovered that was inaccurate, according to a complaint. Investigators said Ranck was convicted of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in August of 2008. Ranck is being charged with false written statement to buy a firearm and statement under penalty of law. No bail is listed for Ranck. Docket sheet
