Woman’s death in Flagler Beach leads to man’s arrest in Georgia, police say
FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. – A person of interest has been arrested in Georgia following the suspicious death of a woman in Flagler Beach, according to police. The investigation began Thursday, the Flagler Beach Police Department said in a news release dated Saturday. The woman who died was identified as Sally J. Byrd, 66, who resided in the Pebble Beach Village community, the release states. Byrd’s cause of death had not yet been determined at the time of this report, police said.

The following information is courtesy of the East Ridge Police Department. 24-009165 – 3600 BLK Fountain Avenue – Suspicious Activity – Officers spoke with a party at the police department, who reported an unknown female approached her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway at 0321hrs this morning. In the video provided, the female approached her vehicle from the side of the house appeared to be talking to someone on her cell phone. The subject did not damage or remove anything from the Jeep but the complainant wanted to document the incident as she is unfamiliar with the party.
