The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department is reporting multiple drownings at Grand Lake and surrounding areas.

Witnesses told officers they saw 39-year-old Levi Gibson jump into the water to help a child who had fallen off something being towed behind the boat, but he did not resurface.

Officers responded to the scene and immediately began to search for the man.

GRDA said they have recovered Gibson's body from the lake.

Officers also responded to a drowning at Flint Creek Waterpark in Colcord.

They said citizens pulled a 26-year-old man from the water and started CPR.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Friday, June 5, GRDA responded to another drowning at Grand Lake.

They recovered the body of an 18-year-old who jumped off the roof of a dock near the Locust Cove area.

After jumping off of the dock's roof, he did not resurface and officers found his body in 31 feet of water.

All three men are at the medical examiner's office in Tulsa.
