"Having a gym open 24 hours in a shopping center adds a tremendous amount of traffic," owner Ben Hamd said.
Hamd said Coldwater Fresh Market is getting ready to open a Middle Eastern meat market very soon next to Camping World.

Hamd said of Planet Fitness, which plans to start construction in the fall and take several months to open, "We're excited to add a little piece to an already amazing market for sure."
Tennessee-based Brookwood Capital bought the shopping center last October.
Hamd said, "We try to buy stuff that's half empty and fill it up."
The real estate firm said Plant Fitness looked at other locations in Coldwater but could not make a deal to meet its needs. "We were young enough to agree to their terms, I guess you could say that in the long run, it will pay off."
Hamd said Coldwater, and that area, in particular, is growing between the new apartments and Walmart.
"Coldwater is doing pretty good at adding businesses. We're doing this. We're excited to do a little bit," Hamd said.

One of the leasing staff, Taylor Woodrum, said there are still a few spaces between Camping World and Big Lots. With the addition of Planet Fitness and the new stores, Brookwood hopes to fill them soon.
