Longtime Washington, DC, Broadcaster Heading To Bluegrass Hall.
Longtime broadcaster Katy Daley, who spent time at WMZQ Washington, DC (98.7) during the 1980s, enters the Bluegrass Hall of Fame at the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Bluegrass Music Awards ceremony on Sept. 26 in Raleigh, NC. Daley also worked at American University’s public WAMU-FM Washington, DC (88.5). She receives the honor alongside bandleader/educator Alan Munde and dobro player Jerry Douglas.
