St. Ann Center Sets Homecoming Gala for Oct. 5
Experience a grand celebration commemorating 25 years of care for all generations. St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care will host Homecoming: A 25th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 5, at its Stein Campus, the intergenerational day care’s first home. The event is among the center’s largest fundraising efforts in support of its world-renowned day care program, which serves children, frail seniors and adults with disabilities, all in the same home-like setting.
Union trades celebrate use of AFL-CIO HIT to get Couture off the ground
Construction unions held a celebration for the labor and investment from organized labor for 31-story Couture project, which is starting to wrap up in Milwaukee. The luxury tower broke ground in 2021 and is located at 909 E. Michigan St. overlooking Lake Michigan. The project, led by Barrett Lo Visionary Development, was a deal in the making for at least eight years. Officials with general contractor Findorff said the project will be fully completed in September.

Luke Hansel Signs Professional Contract with Lake Country DockHounds
MILWAUKEE – After finishing his collegiate career with the Panthers this past spring, Luke Hansel has signed to play professionally with the Lake Country DockHounds. He joins the DockHounds, based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, who are members of the American Association of Professional Baseball, an official MLB Partner League.
