NOTE: The Quarterfinal locations for the 1-4 teams won’t be decided until after the final rankings
Wednesday, January 1, 2025 5:00, ESPN Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA Last Season: Ole Miss 38, Penn State 25 Preseason CFP Bowl Projection 2 Ohio State (13-0) vs 7 vs 10 winner (7 Texas)

- The rested Buckeyes will flex a bit. This could very easily be the national championship if Texas can somehow pull off the SEC Championship win over Georgia, or Alabama, or … nah.
Texas will be good, but it’ll lose a few along the way to miss out on even playing in the conference title game, but a win over Michigan early on will be the big win to get that 7 seed. And then Ohio State will show why this might be its year.
