BYU is coming off a wildly disappointing losing season in its first run in the Big 12, and it might be tested a little bit early by a Southern Illinois team that starts the season as one of the ten best in the FCS rankings.
The Saluki defense is dangerous - it beat Northern Illinois last year - and got to the FCS Playoffs, and has the makeup to give the Cougars a run.
