Why Iowa Will Win

The Troy defense is struggling.

It’s not getting destroyed, but both Nevada and Memphis were able to run way too easily. The Wolf Pack averaged over six yards per carry, the Tigers averaged over seven yards per carry, and Iowa isn’t going to mess with it.

There’s no reason to bomb away. Run it 35 to 40 times, keep hammering, and let the defense take care of the rest. You know … be Iowa. It’s averaging 5.7 yards per carry and will do it again.

Troy has good parts in place. It’s not turning the ball over, and again, it’s able to move the chains, but Iowa’s style will work perfectly.
