Missouri has to get back into the SEC winning groove, and Auburn needs to get its season going already.
The AU version of the Tigers have lost three straight, have two more road games after this, and have to deal with Texas A&M. There are enough winnable games to get to six and a bowl game, but lose this, and it might be over.
Mizzou got wiped up by Texas A&M two weeks ago, got over it with a palate cleansing 45-3 win at UMass, and now goes back home before dealign with Alabama as the start of a run of three road games in four dates.

Why Auburn Will Win
Is anything going right with these Tigers?
The offense hasn’t been all that bad. It was able to throw a wee bit against Georgia - but not enough to matter - and it winged it around the yard against Oklahoma. There’s an offense there just waiting to come out.
The Mizzou Tigers faced two good teams along with Vanderbilt. It gave up 249 passing yards in the fight of a win over Boston College and got hit for 276 yards in the blowout against Texas A&M - those were the only two times this season they allowed 200 yards through the air.
Auburn has a nightmare of a time putting the biscuit in the basket.
The offense can’t run, it doesn’t control the clock a lick, and now the team is going against a bunch that’s way too good on third downs on both sides of the ball.
Auburn hasn’t been bad in the red zone - outside of the Oklahoma game - but it can’t get there. And often there’s a reason for that.
Five turnovers against Arkansas. Five more against Cal. To Auburn’s credit it chilled the mistakes out with just one pick against Oklahoma, but the defense didn’t force any takeaways and didn’t come up with any against Georgia, either.
Auburn vs Missouri: Who Will Win
Missouri might not be quite as good as everyone thinks, and Auburn isn’t quite as awful as everyone things, but it won’t seem like it by the fourth quarter.
Auburn will hang around for a while, but a few stalled drives, a few big plays from the Mizzou pass rush, and the home Tigers will start to pull away.
