TCU vs Utah Prediction, Game Preview, and Betting Lines

This isn't what Utah signed up for.

It was supposed to roll through the Big 12 as the big, bad, nasty team from the old Pac-12, but it dropped a punchless game against Arizona at home and got run over by Arizona State on the road last week.

It still has work to do with Iowa State, Colorado, and BYU to deal with, but lose at home to TCU, and that's it for the Big 12 season.

TCU lost three of its last four games, mostly when the defense broke down. It's not totally done in the Big 12 race, but it needs to get going with three of the next four games at home.

Why TCU Will Win

The Utah offense hasn't been totally awful, but the running game hasn't been working like normal.

With starting quarterback Cam Rising out, it's the Isaac Wilson show again. He's been good at times, but he's thrown seven interceptions to go along with the positives.

Why Utah Will Win

TCU is steadily meh against the run.

It got destroyed by UCF and SMU, but wasn't totally horrible against Kansas and Houston.

Utah hasn't pounded away on the ground like it normally does. When it's humming it blows past 30 carries, going 4-0 when running 37 times or more and 0-2 when running 33 times or fewer.
