The Pearsall, TX native once again proved everything is bigger in Texas as he welcomed 110,905 fans to his show, which bet the previous record of 110,905 held by the Grateful Dead from their performance at Raceway Park in New Jersey in 1977.

The attendance also made history for Texas A&M as the largest attended single event, a record previously held by a Texas A&M game against Ole Miss in 2014 that saw 110,633 fans. The concert was Strait ’s first time ever playing Kyle Field.

“What’s going on everybody?” He said as he addressed the crowd from stage. “We got some Aggie’s out there? Oh yeah! I’m ashamed to say this, but this is my first time to ever be in Kyle Field… damn! Just invite me back, I’ll come!”

Fans who didn’t get a chance to be part of the record-breaking crowd still have a chance to catch Strait on his 2024 Tour. Find tickets here . Check out his remaining dates below. He also has a new album, Cowboys And Dreamers, arriving September 6.
