I Heart America Celebration coming July 5

COLLEGE STATION, Texas ( FOX 44 ) – The City of College Station will be celebrating the Fourth of July this Friday, but it will be worth the wait!

The inaugural I Heart America Celebration will be taking place at the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater, located at 1015 Colgate Drive. Event organizers say this free event will be packed with patriotic pride, and will include loads of delicious food and lively entertainment.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with the main event starting at 6:30 p.m. This will be followed by live music from All Hat No Cadillac at 7:30 p.m., who will performing country hits from the 1990s. Lawn chairs, coolers and blankets are welcome!

A special kids’ area with games, a train ride, and other fun activities will help keep the younger guests entertained until the main event – a stunning fireworks and drone display at 9 p.m.!

Free parking is available at Post Oak Mall, with accessible parking available along Colgate Drive.
