(July 19, 2024) – The University of North Alabama announced Friday that Evans Kiptoo has resigned from his position as head men’s and women’s cross country coach to accept a new position with another program. An Alabama man is accused of killing his wife along with four children between the ages of 2 and 9 in a Thursday night shooting that shocked the rural central community where they lived.Brandon Allan Kendrick II, 32, was arrested on five counts of capital murder for the death of his wife, Kelse Kendrick, and four children in Bibb County, court records show.
