Kiptoo resigns from UNA cross country program
FLORENCE, Ala. (July 19, 2024) – The University of North Alabama announced Friday that Evans Kiptoo has resigned from his position as head men’s and women’s cross country coach to accept a new position with another program. Kiptoo was hired to lead the UNA programs in May 2023. “We are thankful for Coach Kiptoo and his service to our cross country program,” said UNA Director of Athletics Dr. Josh Looney. “Evans is a talented cross country coach, and we wish him well on his new journey.” The search for a new Lions cross country coach begins immediately.
