Vehicle hits building in Rock Island
There is major damage to a building and stop sign in Rock Island after a vehicle crashed into them. Rock Island Police shared with Our Quad Cities News that an accident involving a vehicle and a residence occurred at 1:27a.m. on the 4400 block of 14th avenue. There were no witnesses to the accident; however, police believe it was the driver of a tan, 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, who lost control and struck the residence.

UPDATE: Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustason told Our Quad Cities News a victim in an East Moline shooting has been identified as Damion L. Hall, 40, of Rock Island. An autopsy was performed Monday in Rockford, he said, and preliminary findings are that Hall had a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
