Toll Brothers Planning Community at Cavasson
The next development in the Cavasson master-planned area in north Scottsdale could be a 136-unit luxury townhome community from Toll Brothers. The developer has requested approval from the Scottsdale Development Review Board for a proposal to build Toll at Cavasson on 11.27 acres in the Cavasson mixed-use area at Loop 101 and Hayden Road.
Lucia Maloy Named General Counsel at SUU
After an extensive national search, Southern Utah University is proud to name Lucia Maloy as the institution's new General Counsel. Maloy has served in a legal counsel capacity for SUU since 2020, most recently serving as Associate General Counsel for the Office of Legal Affairs. Maloy will begin her appointment immediately.
Officials optimistic about outlook, progress in Graff Point Fire containment
CEDAR CITY — Officials are optimistic the Graff Point Fire burning a few miles south of Cedar City will be kept from spreading much farther. The wildland blaze was listed on InciWeb and Utah Fire Info as having burned 543 acres as of Tuesday evening, with containment estimated at 47%. Those numbers remained essentially unchanged as of Wednesday morning.
Scottsdale Quarter announces major redevelopment, new additions
As is common in Scottsdale, upscale shopping center Scottsdale Quarter is getting a facelift.
