Bullhead City Police pursuit results in three arrests, seizure of 17,000 fentanyl pills
BULLHEAD CITY — A short vehicle pursuit Monday night led narcotic detectives to about 17,000 fentanyl pills. Bullhead City Police Department Mohave Area General Narcotic Enforcement Team detectives had received information that a group of individuals had transported illegal drugs to Bullhead City from California, said Emily Fromelt, Bullhead City Police Department spokeswoman. Throughout the investigation, narcotic detectives identified the people involved in this drug trafficking organization.

Tempe man on trial for feeding homeless now faces ‘vindictive’ ban
The city of Tempe has already hauled Austin Davis into court for feeding the homeless without a permit. Now the city’s war on Davis has taken on a new front. On July 1, Davis said, a Tempe park ranger spitefully cited him for trespassing at Moeur Park, where he’d arrived after the park had closed to clean up trash. As a result, Davis has been banned from all Tempe parks in the Papago Park Preserve — impeding but not halting his efforts to feed the unhoused there — through August 2.

KINGMAN – Kingman’s 46th Annual Mud Mania took place on Thursday, July 11 at Firefighter Memorial Park as a messy summer celebration welcoming everyone to their in-ground, obstacle course. This event held by the City of Kingman Parks and Recreation is completely free to the community. Children as young as four years old and adults of any age could participate. Food trucks and snow cone booths were open to the public. Everything earned from Mud Mania circulates back to the general fund for Parks and Recreation events.
