Stepping into Buckhorn Exchange is like taking a walk through history, with its unique decor featuring animal specimens and a newspaper-style menu that adds a touch of novelty to the dining experience. The restaurant specializes in game meats, and I must say, the quail was a standout, perfectly cooked and deserving a top rating. The buffalo, especially with its fatty parts, was succulent and flavorful, making it a memorable dish. The Rocky Mountain Oysters, though surprising, turned out to be a favorite for their unique taste. On the other hand, the deer meat had a bit of a sour note which wasn't to my liking, and the alligator meat didn't hit the mark either.
