Police investigate after ‘pool of blood’ discovered at north Colorado Springs apartment complex
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Police say all is well after getting an unusual call for service Sunday morning. Just after 9, a 911 caller reported blood dripping from the apartment above theirs, leaving a pool of blood on their balcony. The apartment complex was located on Barnes Road just east of Powers.
No one injured after fire at Colorado Springs restaurant
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A fire at a local restaurant is under investigation. Around 9 p.m. Sunday, the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to Señor Manuel’s restaurant, along North Nevada near Austin Bluffs. The first crews responded within three minutes and began fighting the fire two minutes after that.
9-year-old out of hospital after crash took the lives of his father and sister near Colorado Springs

Colorado man accused of breaking into apartment mailboxes in three cities
A man who forged keys out of silverware in order to steal mail from apartment mailboxes has been indicted on federal fraud charges.Adam Christopher Turner, 40, was arrested in May and indicted late last month by a federal grand jury. The Colorado Springs resident is accused of using his fake keys to access "cluster boxes" at apartment buildings in three cities. His break-ins have been traced back to February 2023, according to details in his indictment.Turner was first arrested November 12, 2023 by Lone Tree PD after he used stolen credit cards at several businesses.
