(COLORADO SPRINGS) — For those interested in exploring the downtown area, Colorado Springs has some quirky new Easter eggs… literally!
Locals and visitors alike have enjoyed finding Colorado Springs’ Humpty Dumpty sculptures clinging to walls, atop structures, and chilling on street level. The sculptures first popped up in the downtown area in 2002, when artist Kimber Fiebiger submitted it as an installation for the annual Art on the Streets program.
Since then, nine more Humpty Dumpty sculptures have been added, one of them even hanging upside down outside of the City Administration parking garage!

The newest addition was installed the week of May 13 at the Plaza of the Rockies building, on the northwest corner of the Pioneer’s Museum. Two Humpties sit at a table with a chess board, and some extra seating offers opportunities to join in the fun or nab a selfie with these handsome, rotund fellows.
