(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Congressional District 5 (CD5) Primary Election Debate between Jeff Crank and Dave Williams is happening on Thursday, June 6 at 6 p.m. at Boot Barn Hall, located at 13071 Bass Pro Drive.

Crank and Williams are running for the seat currently held by retiring Congressman Doug Lamborn. Crank is being endorsed by Lamborn, and House Speaker Mike Johnson, while Williams has the endorsement of former President Donald Trump. Crank ran against Lamborn twice in the 2006 and 2008 primaries.

Williams is currently the head of the Colorado GOP Party, and describes himself as a “conservative wartime fighter.” Formerly, he served three terms as a Colorado state senator.

Crank says he is a lifelong supporter of the Second Amendment and a proud pro-life advocate. He served on staff for U.S. Congressman Joel Hefley, in Washington. Hefley held the CD5 seat before Lamborn.
