(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) hosted proud families and friends who cheered on seven students who graduated on Friday, May 31.

The ceremony started at 10 a.m., starting with a processional into the gymnasium. A trio of blind students sang with a deaf student who used American Sign Language, and the presenters were both deaf and blind.

“It was a long road,” said Amber Morris, one of the graduates. “Definitely had some hard times, but it all paid off in the end.”
