A Starbucks in Colorado Springs may undergo significant renovations, as the brand is looking to make big changes to the space, records show. The company has filed applications for construction at its 6815 N Academy Blvd. store.

It’s unclear what status the project is currently in, but the city’s website shows a building permit request was originally denied. The renovation will encompass various aspects of the establishment, including the front bar, back bar, café, workroom, restrooms, and patio area.

The designer for the project is Change Up Inc., while Design Forum Architects, Inc. is the architect on records from the city of Colorado Springs. The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) consultant is listed as WHS Engineering.

Starbucks, a globally recognized coffeehouse chain, is renowned for its quality coffee, teas, and cold brews, and inviting atmosphere. Founded in 1971 in Seattle, it has grown into one of the world’s most iconic brands with thousands of locations worldwide.
