UPDATE: CSFD puts out attic fire near Union and Powers

UPDATE: WEDNESDAY 6/19/2024 3:30 p.m.

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said a fire at a home in the 9900 block of San Luis Park Court is out after crews extinguished an attic fire on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 19.

CSFD said crews arrived at the home within eight minutes and a total of 29 firefighters were on the scene to help. There were no injuries to fire crews or those living at the home.

According to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD), crews are on the scene of a fire at a structure near Union and Powers, as of 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.

CSFD posted that Engine 15 is at the 9900 block of San Luis Park Court working a fire that is on the top floor of the structure. According to CSFD, all occupants are safely out of the structure.
