(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The community around Rampart High School may see increased police presence on Thursday, June 27.

As a part of an ongoing partnership with the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers will be using Rampart High School on June 27 for a planned drill.

Due to the event, there will be increased police activity around the school until approximately 4 p.m. on June 27. District 20 and CSPD ask that individuals not call the police regarding the activity at Rampart High School to report the additional presence.

“This is a drill,” said Communication Specialist Caitlin Ford. “People shouldn’t be concerned or call 911 regarding the activity.”
