CSFD puts out a house fire north of downtown Thursday afternoon

The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) put out a fire at a house north of downtown Thursday afternoon.

In a social media post just before 5 p.m. CSFD says they were attacking the fire on North Royer Street.

According to CSFD, the fire was in the attic of the home, and it was put out in about 10 minutes.

CSFD says one person may be displaced because of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
