Abadon Shows Off Painful Looking Back Following No-DQ Hardcore Match

Abadon is currently a regular on Tony Khans’s ROH brand, having been with AEW for several years. Yet, despite being a contracted talent, Abadon will occasionally take advantage of Khan’s policy of allowing his wrestlers to perform on indie shows that don’t clash with their AEW commitments. However, the non-binary star has surprised fans, having wrestled a no-disqualification hardcore match against Heidi Howitzer for Respect Women’s Wrestling in Colorado, which left her back looking extremely sore, with multiple thumbtacks still visible post-match.

Abadon broke into the business in 2019, and due to a combination of AEW needing performers for their now-defunct YouTube show Dark and The Zombae’s distinctive look, she would get an opportunity early in her career. Yet, due to a combination of injuries and a lack of creative, they wouldn’t be featured as prominently as many predicted, with there even being a two-year hiatus from television at one point. Still, thanks to the 32-year-old’s gimmick being perfect for Halloween, this would open the door for a return during last year’s spooky season, which has since seen Abadon join the ROH roster.
