Kenji Bunch's Supermaximum draws on the resilient spirit of those who suffered under slavery and segregation in the United States, offering a narrative of transcending hardship through music. In a similar vein, Amanda Aldridge's Lazy Dance, composed under the pseudonym "Montague Ring," reflects her own challenges and triumphs against racial prejudice.

The intrigue continues with Prokofiev's Lieutenant Kijé Suite, a whimsical tale of an accidentally created Russian officer whose fictional life spirals into absurdity. To top off the evening, the concert will feature 007: Through the Years, an arrangement of the iconic music from the James Bond films that promises to leave audiences both shaken and stirred.
