    11 charged, multiple vehicles towed at Colrain river on Fourth of July

    COLRAIN, Mass. (WWLP) – Police were called to South Green River Road in Colrain following a series of complaints.

    The response led to the removal of multiple individuals from the area, resulting in 11 trespassing charges and several vehicles being towed.

    The incident occurred in response to reports of unauthorized activity along the river, prompting a coordinated effort by local law enforcement to address the situation. The Colrain Police Department expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Shelburne and Bernardston police departments, as well as Byrnes Towing, which assisted in the operation.

    The Colrain Police Department thanked their counterparts and the towing service for their prompt assistance in handling the situation.
