BOSTON — Recently, the Healey-Driscoll Administration announced $15.9 million in workforce development grant funding for 22 initiatives in various locations across Massachusetts. SUNDERLAND — The town of Sunderland is partnering up with the town of Amherst to design a mixed-use path from Whately to Amherst. Sunderland has received a $195,090 Mass Trails grant for a feasibility study and designing of the 10-foot-wide path that will go from Whately Park and Ride off Interstate 91 along Route 116 through South Deerfield and Sunderland ending just south of Meadow Street in Amherst.

Burke Israel did not attend Hull High’s graduation, and her resignation was not discussed at the school committee’s June 24 meeting. Massachusetts seems to have a law for everything and while it makes sense for some things others are just strange. As we all know the 4th of July recently passed and Massachusetts is the only state that has a law against consumer fireworks including buying, selling, and using. Some folks agree with this law while others think it's complete nonsense. In addition, this law doesn't seem to be enforced in Massachusetts at least not in my area.
