ValleyBike Share with fleet of e-bikes relaunches next month with new operator
NORTHAMPTON — ValleyBike Share will relaunch Aug. 12 after not operating since 2022, the city of Northampton announced Tuesday. The relaunch will feature 300 existing bikes and 50 e-bikes supplied from the new operator, Drop Mobility. The previous operator, Bewegen Technologies, filed for bankruptcy protection in its native Canada in early 2023, which led to the suspension of the program in the Pioneer Valley.
