DownTown in MadTown returns tonight for its second of six weekly events in downtown Madison. DownTown in MadTown takes place from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays through August 20th. The event takes place in the 100-blocks of North and South Egan Avenue. Tonight is Agricultural night, with music provided by Kat Perkins. According to the City of Sioux Falls, a man and woman were walking their leashed chow mix at the park around 1:30 p.m. Saturday. They approached two women walking two, leashed dogs, described as a black and white pit bull and a tan pit bull mix with an orange harness.

Sioux Falls area nonprofits receive $600k from Beyond Idea Grant
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Seven nonprofits in the Sioux Falls area received a share of $600,000 in grants on Monday for community-based problem-solving efforts. In partnership with the Bush Foundation, the South Dakota Community Foundation awarded the grants through their Beyond Idea Grant program. SDCF has awarded nearly $3.6 million dollars from the Beyond Idea Grant program since 2022.
