Live at Rouses: Chatting with CEO Donny Rouse
Studio 10 was so excited to celebrate ten years of Rouses Markets in Alabama! The show went live from the beautiful Rouses location on Airport Blvd. in West Mobile, AL. Rouses CEO Donny Rouse talked with us throughout the show and said that leading this company is an honor. His grandfather, Anthony J. Rouse, Sr., opened the family’s first grocery store in 1960, and 15 years later it was renamed Rouses. They are now one of the fastest growing family-owned companies in the country.
Dothan Police Asking for Community’s Help with Murder
(DOTHAN, Ala.) On July 20, 2024, Dothan Police responded to reports of a stabbing near the intersection of West Powell and Linden Street. When officers arrived, they located the victim, identified as Damon Goodson (53) of Dothan, lying in the roadway with a stab wound to his upper torso. Goodson was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Goodson, after undergoing surgery, was placed on life support. On July 21, 2024, Goodson died from his injuries. The Dothan Police Department is asking for the community’s help in solving this case.

Repairs on Gulf State Park Pier nearly finished
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — A project on an iconic Alabama coast landmark is nearing the finish line. Alabama State Parks’ Southern Regional Operations Supervisor Lamar Pendergrass says construction crews have almost completed repairs on the Gulf State Park pier.
